Hey, there!

I’m known around here as Natalie “Tommy” Claire. I am a Christian, photographer, blogger, writer, big sister, and kinda-sorta humorous person (at times). It thrills me to have you visiting my little corner of the blogosphere! Allow me to introduce my blog (and my self) a little more…

So what is this blog?

I started this blog thingy in December 2019 because, well, it’s kinda fun to write stuff and I like taking pictures and I follow enough blogs to get a lot of blogging inspiration. I’m really new to this whole blogosphere, but it’s so fun to have my own place to post.

I do posts on photography stuff, life stories, nature investigations, and any number of random fun, introvertish thingies I happen to think of. I can guarantee you there’ll be at least one photo in each post (unless there is some kind of glitch I’m not responsible for!) and it is my full intent to pack each post with something fun.

I consider my blogging efforts a success if they produce a spark of joy, a muffled laugh, a brightened day, or a silent smile. So if you have any suggestions, shoot them to me! I write for my readers! 🙂

And who even am I?

*inhales* I’m known around here as Natalie “Tommy” Claire. I’m a Christian, photographer, writer, blogger….

Wait. No, you don’t want to hear all of that again. Here it is for real:

My name is Natalie, but some of my friends call me “Tommy.” I love to laugh a lot, photograph random nature thingies, write funny stuff, read piles of books, and draw cartoon-ish doodles. I also have never written an about page before and am semi-clueless on were to go from here.

How about some random things about me?

Alright, here we go!

Winter is my favorite season… as long as we get a nice snowfall which has, sadly, been quite rare these past years. But I definitly love the Christmas season and everything surrounding it even if there is no snow. Yeah, Christmas is the best holiday of all!

My favorite color is… I don’t know. Pink, maybe? Or red. I know I loved pink when I was younger. (That’s why flamingos were my favorite animals.) Honestly, every color has it’s own purpose, so I like every color when it’s in the right place! 🙂

I love to read. I’ll have my spurts where I read a pile at a time. I like to read at least five books each month, but there are times when I far surpass this goal. Some of my favorite book genres are history, fiction, nonfiction, and self-help books.

I LOVE MUSIC! (The good stuff, that is.) I don’t know how to read music or play any instruments professionally, but I love to play around on the instruments we have which are mostly all string instruments – violin, guitar, dulcimer, mandolin, ect. And I love listening to music – mostly classical and old swing tunes, but I’ll listen to other genres as well.

I was homeschooled from pre-school through to graduation. Homeschooling is great, no matter what others might tell you! I never, for even a second, wish I had been schooled differently.

I am an introvert and a very shy one at that. With my cousins, I can be a totally outgoing goofball, but with anyone else, I’ll either leave, silently and uncomfortably remain there, or REALLY push myself to tell a couple jokes.

And last but not least, I love to laugh and make others laugh. Whether it’s a humorous writing, a witty remark, a hilarious action, or just a downright stupidly funny mistake, I love to laugh at it and get others to do the same.

There you are, folks! Hopefully y’all enjoyed getting to know me just a bit better than before. Thanks ever so much for stopping by my little corner of the blogosphere and feel welcome to drop by again whenever you’d like! Have yourself an awesomely lovely day!

Natalie “Tommy” Claire
